Chief Development Officer, Lafayette Consolidated Government
Carlee Alm-LaBar has been the Chief Development Officer for Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) since December 2014. She is responsible for development issues across departments and the implementation of Lafayette’s comprehensive plan, PlanLafayette.
Prior to holding this position, she was an assistant to City-Parish President Joey Durel, where she oversaw communications and community relations for LCG and the comprehensive planning process since inception. She also acted as a legislative liaison between LCG and Baton Rouge while leading a diversity of special projects including the creation of the Farmers and Artisans Market at the Horse Farm and Lafayette’s application to the inaugural Bloomberg Mayors Challenge Program.
Carlee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University in Illinois and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from LSU.
